notes on grief
dedicated to my grandma
Grief is hard.
On February 13, 2026, my grandma passed away. She was a pivotal force throughout my childhood, and I am eternally grateful for her influence on my life.
February was tumultuous, and emotions were high navigating her decline, death, and the aftermath.
Writing helped me process parts of my grief, and this collection was largely inspired by the notes and journal entries I wrote throughout the month. It felt good to honor my grandma in this way.

I’ve been doing better this month, and I attribute so much of that to the friends who held space for me, let me cry in front of them, and share my burden.
Talking to someone (when you feel ready to) truly makes a world of difference.
If you’re going through grief, my heart is with you.
